What is the purpose of jewellery?

Well, without Googling it, here are my thoughts.

Jewellery to me has always been about self-expression, along with the clothes, bags and shoes…it is about giving the public a taste of who you are without saying a word. NO WORDS required when you wear NO WORDS jewellery. Leave them speechless. (But you won’t, everyone will be commenting).

I guess jewels used to be about status in society but I’ve never been one to entertain ranks or hierarchy.

We all bleed red.

That’s why I wanted to create jewellery for every kind of human, irrespective of social standings or age.

Jewellery and clothes and shoes should be fun, affordable and hard-wearing. What can I say? I’m rough with everything, hell…I’ve even cracked a diamond on a doorway. So no more diamond rings for me. Synthetics all the way cheers.

So this post is a back-pedal into my pre-Soho venture (check my first blog so you know what I’m talking about). My polymer clay creations. Just so you know that I can use my hands and not just an app and machine. If you ask nicely, I might just reboot this range alongside my Perspex creations.
